On Friday, December 4, 2026, Jersey City becomes a free, citywide art walk. JC Fridays, presented by Art House Productions, returns to Hudson County, NJ with galleries, bars, performance spaces and other venues in every neighborhood hosting art, music, screenings and talks, and this winter edition marks the festival’s 20th anniversary.
The same night, Art House Gallery at 345 Marin Boulevard opens the 9th Annual Affordable Art Show with a reception from 5:00 to 10:00 p.m., and every piece in the show is priced at $500 or less. Here is what our team confirmed from the official Art House Productions and JC Fridays pages.

What Is JC Fridays?
JC Fridays is a free, quarterly arts festival held at the start of every season. Visitors explore participating businesses, galleries, bars, performance spaces and other venues to see visual art, live performances, screenings and talks while meeting artists, residents and fellow visitors. In 2026 the festival has grown thanks to a significant grant from the New Jersey Economic Development Authority A.R.T. Program, with more billboards, printed brochures and digital promotion than before.
The 9th Annual Affordable Art Show
Art House is celebrating its 25th Anniversary Season, and its Affordable Art Show is built for holiday shoppers. The show runs from December 4, 2026 to January 23, 2027 at Art House Gallery, with the opening reception on December 4 as part of JC Fridays. The idea is simple: original, gift-worthy work that is easy to buy and take home the same day. Accepted mediums include painting, photography, sculpture, jewelry, pottery, prints and ornaments, and all works are priced at $500 or less.
Local artists have a short window to take part. Submissions are due by midnight on Friday, November 13, acceptance notices go out on Monday, November 16, and accepted work is dropped off on Saturday, November 28 and Sunday, November 29 from 12:00 to 5:00 p.m. Full guidelines are on the official call for art page.
Host a December 4 Event
Bars, shops, galleries and creative spaces can join the night. Events must be free, open to the public, in or affiliated with Jersey City, and held at a confirmed venue, and all art forms are welcome. The early submission deadline for the printed brochure and posters is Wednesday, November 18, and the late deadline for online listings is Friday, November 27. Getting to Art House
Art House sits between Bay Street and Morgan Street, steps from the Grove Street PATH station. Exchange Place PATH is about half a mile away, and the Hendrix valet garage at 181 Bay Street is the venue’s parking suggestion. Street parking is limited, so check the signs.
