The best restaurants in Weehawken sit in two places: along Harbor Boulevard and Port Imperial on the Hudson River, where dining rooms look straight across at Midtown Manhattan, and up the cliffs on Park Avenue and Boulevard East, where the township’s neighborhood spots feed locals every night. Our team checked every restaurant below against its own website or official listing in late October 2026, so you can book with confidence.

Weehawken is a small town with an outsized dining scene, and the mix is part of the fun. You can start with a steak dinner at Lincoln Harbor one night and grab rotisserie chicken on Park Avenue the next. Here are eight restaurants in Weehawken worth your table.

Restaurants in Weehawken on the Water

Molos, Weehawken (Lincoln Harbor)

Molos is a Greek and Mediterranean seafood restaurant right on the river at Lincoln Harbor. Its two-story dining room has floor-to-ceiling windows facing the New York City skyline, and the kitchen is known for whole fish chosen from its fish market display and flaming saganaki served tableside. It is a natural pick for an anniversary or a family celebration.

Ruth’s Chris Steak House, Weehawken (Lincoln Harbor)

The Weehawken location of the classic steakhouse brand serves dinner every night at Lincoln Harbor. Expect sizzling steaks, a polished dining room and a full bar, plus takeout and delivery if you would rather eat at home. Note that valet is currently suspended; paid self-parking is about 100 yards north in the lot in front of Whole Foods.

  • Address: 1000 Harbor Boulevard, Weehawken, NJ 07086
  • Hours: Dinner Monday to Thursday 4 to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday 4 to 10:30 p.m., Sunday 4 to 9 p.m.
  • Website: Reservations on OpenTable

Blu on the Hudson, Weehawken

Blu on the Hudson offers several ways to dine under one roof: a casual Blu Sushi Bar, a high-end main dining room and a large bar and lounge with cocktails, wine and views of New York City. The menu covers contemporary American cooking with dedicated steak, seafood, sushi and house-made pasta sections. Weekday Social Hour runs Monday to Friday from 4 to 6 p.m.

Drift Restaurant and Bar, Weehawken

Drift brings a chef-driven New American menu and a sushi bar to the Weehawken riverfront, and its signature feature is a rotating dining platform that slowly turns to show off the Manhattan skyline. Menu highlights include tuna tartare, prime braised short ribs, steak frites and fried shrimp in bao buns. Happy hour in the bar and lounge runs 4 to 6:30 p.m.

  • Address: 1200 Harbor Boulevard, Weehawken, NJ 07086

The Highwood, Weehawken (Port Imperial)

The Highwood sits on the Port Imperial waterfront with big views of NYC and a rustic but upscale room. Executive Chef Orlando Clemente runs a scratch menu with signatures like The Highwood Burger and a NY strip steak with black garlic compound butter, plus creative cocktails and a long beer list. Weekend brunch brings chicken and waffles and citrus and bourbon French toast.

  • Address: 500 Avenue at Port Imperial, Weehawken, NJ 07086
  • Hours: Monday to Thursday 4 p.m. to midnight, Friday 3 p.m. to 2 a.m., Saturday noon to 2 a.m., Sunday noon to midnight

Faubourg, Weehawken (Port Imperial)

The Weehawken outpost of Montclair’s acclaimed French brasserie opened in 2024, about a block from the waterfront. The space has an open kitchen, a grand bar, a cocktail lounge and outdoor seating, and the menu is French-inspired food paired with wine and craft cocktails. Happy hour runs daily from 4 to 7 p.m., and reservations are taken through Resy.

Weehawken NJ Restaurants Up the Hill

Charrito’s, Weehawken (Boulevard East)

Charrito’s first opened in Union City on July 19, 1992, and its Weehawken location on Boulevard East keeps the same focus on traditional Oaxacan favorites alongside dishes from other regions of Mexico. It is a relaxed spot for dinner with friends, with dine-in, takeout and delivery, and reservations are not required.

Rotisserie on Park, Weehawken (Park Avenue)

Rotisserie on Park, known locally as ROP, opened in 2020 and has become a Park Avenue go-to for comfort food. Rotisserie chicken is the star, backed by crispy fried chicken, wraps, salads and smoothies. Dine in, grab takeout on the way home, or book it for catering.

Tips for Dining in Weehawken

Waterfront restaurants fill up fast on weekends and before holidays, so book a few days ahead for Molos, Blu, Drift, The Highwood and Faubourg, and ask for a window table when you reserve. Hours above were confirmed in late October 2026; restaurants can change hours seasonally, so check the website before you go.

Make a full day of it: walk the river first with our guide to waterfront spots and parks in Hudson County for fall, or plan a weekend brunch using our roundup of the best brunch in Hoboken and Jersey City. Runners can also earn their dinner at the Weehawken 5K for Food Justice on November 14.

Getting There

The Hudson-Bergen Light Rail stops at both Lincoln Harbor and Port Imperial, and NY Waterway ferries run from Port Imperial to Manhattan, so a car-free dinner is easy. Driving? Faubourg points diners to the ferry parking garages at 500 Avenue at Port Imperial and 100 Port Imperial Boulevard, and Ruth’s Chris guests can use the paid lot in front of Whole Foods at Lincoln Harbor.
